This policy explains how Bill Bana collects, uses, protects, and manages information when you use our GST billing and business record-management application.

In short: Bill Bana uses information to provide account access, billing features, document creation, reports, subscriptions, support, security, and legal compliance. We do not sell personal data.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the Bill Bana mobile application, website, and related services. Bill Bana is designed for Indian businesses to create GST invoices and bills of supply, manage firms, buyers, sellers and items, maintain records, prepare reports, and access supported subscription features.

Bill Bana is a business productivity tool. It does not provide tax, legal, investment, banking, lending, insurance, or financial advice.

2. Information we collect

Account and profile information

We may collect your mobile number, name, email address, user identifier, authentication information, and account preferences.

Business and billing information

We may collect firm details, addresses, GSTIN, PAN, bank or payment details entered for invoices, buyers and sellers, items, HSN/SAC details, invoice records, credit or debit notes, purchase records, and generated reports.

Payments and subscriptions

Payment providers may process payment information for Bill Bana subscriptions. Bill Bana may retain subscription status, transaction references, purchase history, invoice details, and related records. We do not intend to store complete card or banking credentials handled by the payment provider.

Files, images, and technical information

When you choose to upload a logo, payment QR code, photo, or document, we process that content to provide the requested feature. We may also collect device identifiers, diagnostics, security events, and service-performance information.

3. How we use information

  • Create and secure your account.
  • Provide GST billing, record management, reports, exports, and document history.
  • Process subscriptions and maintain purchase records.
  • Prevent fraud, protect the service, and comply with applicable law.
  • Respond to support enquiries and service communications.
  • Improve reliability and diagnose technical problems.

4. Service providers and data transfers

We may use trusted service providers for authentication, cloud storage, database hosting, payment processing, error handling, and other functions needed to operate Bill Bana. These providers process data under their own terms and applicable safeguards. Information may be processed in locations where these providers operate, subject to applicable law.

5. Data security and retention

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, including encrypted network connections and access controls, to protect information. No system can guarantee absolute security.

We retain information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, meet tax or accounting requirements, and comply with law. Some records may be retained after account deletion where legally required.

6. Your choices and rights

You may review or update supported account and business information in the app. You may also request account deletion through the in-app Delete Account option or our Account Deletion page.

7. Children’s privacy

Bill Bana is intended for business users aged 18 or older and is not directed to children.

8. Changes and contact

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the service or legal requirements. The updated date will appear on this page.
